Lucy was born and raised in Orlando, FL. After getting a Political Science degree at the Florida State University, she moved to Los Angeles to work for an election campaign during the gubernatorial elections, but as soon as she felt disappointed in the politics, she began to pursue a theater career…
Ironically it was at that period of her life in 2008 when she was introduced to the yoga for the first time. She’s been exposed to the Ashanti Yoga by a director of a stage play she was working on who suggested it as an instrument for finding her vocal strength and improving her sense of body awareness.
She fell in love with the practice at once ever since…
After a few years of avid practicing, Lucy completed her Modo Yoga training in full firstly in California, just as well as the Modo Flow training in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Since her very first class at Modo Yoga LA she knew it was her calling once and for all…
At times when Lucy is not acting in one of her stageplays or when she isn’t teaching or practicing at the studio, you’ll probably find her practicing Tae Kwon Do or participating in a Crossfit training.
She deeply believes that yoga is the foundation and the basis of all her physical practices.
She tries to practice balancing strength and grace — steadiness and ease — both in and out of the hot room.
