Drawing Classes

Art has a powerful impact on the way your child grows and develops...

Drawing is one of the most basic art forms, allowing your kid to fully delve into the tranquil world of creativity, new skills, and a new hobby!

The emphasis is to introduce a number of art concepts in a fun explorative way with caregivers on standby to encourage and assist as each student undertakes two or three projects per class. Educational and motivating with a focus of learning on line, shape, and color. A great place to get messy, play, explore and create.

Besides the basics of drawing the classes will also include such activities as:

  • Blind Contour Drawing
  • Clay
  • Textiles
  • Collaging

Age groups for these classes:

  • 3-6 y.o.
  • 7 – 11 y.o.
  • 12 – 16 y.o.

Pricing

  • 1 – 5 sessions per month     $69.00
  • 5 – 15 sessions per month     $59.00
  • 15 – 30 sessions per month     $49.00

Tom Barrows is a fine artist whose main specializations are printmaking and drawing. His artworks are exhibited globally, held in public and private collections.

Because of his involvement in arts education and residences (most recently, in Worcestershire in the UK) Tom has developed a strong interest in the creative aspects of building ideas, and thinking generated through making.

Tom is an Associate Lecturer at the Rose Bruford Theatre School and at The University of Arts in London.

Since 2000, Tom has been involved in projects related to kids. He is pleased to be on the Board of Directors of Ignite Futures, an organization that promotes creativity in learning for school-aged children.
