Hello!
My name is Addison “Jimmy” Bellavisio and I’ve been involved in the world of professional photography since the age of 5.
My father, Terrence Bellavisio, a 2nd generation Italian-American from Boston was a photo correspondent for the Time magazine for 25 years. He owned a photo studio for 10 more years after that.
So when I was 6 or 7 years old it was no big deal for me to photograph squirrels in our yard on a Leica $10000 worth camera, with a 20x zoom and a 21mm lens…
Since then I’ve come a long way in this field of profession, graduated from the NYAS and also enjoyed a war correspondent position for the NYP magazine. The Iraqi photography experience excelled my skills and artistic vision. It was there where I’ve learned to capture human emotions and a beauty of the moment, amidst the raging war… A few years later I’ve founded my own photo studio, just like my father did 20 years before me..
My list of clients includes:
Macy’s, American Rag, Dr. Martens, Filter Creative Group, Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, Fueled By Ramen, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, Interscope Records, Epitaph Records, Vagrant Records, Equal Vision Records, Razor and Tie Records, Nylon Magazine, Alternative Press Magazine, Guitar World Magazine, Ragged Magazine, Skyscraper Magazine
… and many more commercial and private customers!
